Awesomely Artistic, a Pillow Box Die & Papillon Potpourri Butterflies

If you have not already had the pleasure, then let me introduce to this new little gem from Stampin' Up!

From next week (1st September 2015)  the new "Pillow Box Die" will be available to order from the latest Autumn/Winter Catalogue.   It creates with ease beautiful Pillow Boxes for you to dress up however you please.

Here I have used Pink Pirouette Cardstock and stamped directly onto the front panel in Clear Versamark using one of my personal current favourite sets "Awesomely Artistic.  I then heat embossed in "White Stampin' Emboss Powder.   Using a blender pen, I applied Pink Pirouette waterbased ink to some of the flowers to make them "pop".

I then looked out a fabulous set which I have not used for a little while - "Papillon Potpourri" and stamped, heat embossed and shaded with my Blender Pen onto a spare piece of cardstock two lovely little butterflies.   These were then punched out with my "Bitty Butterfly Punch".  I applied some pearl embellishments and then adhered them to the front panel.

I finished the box with some lovely pink organza ribbon.

My lovely friend Lea over at "The Crafty Spark" has been busy putting this die to good use too.

Check out her clever You Tube Tutorial for extending the die to create longer Pillow Boxes :

Hope you like this little project and thank you for stopping by today.
