"A Flurry of Wishes" Cracker Box with Box Lid

Today's project is this gorgeous Cracker Box which I will be using this Christmas as part of my place settings for my guests around the Christmas table.

I was inspired by a tutorial from Dawn's Inspirations /http://dawnsinspirations.com/envelope-punch-board-cracker-boxes/, but decided to put my own spin on the project.  I have used different dimensions and the template is very slightly different, and I also added the Box Lid as an extra little storage place for a Christmas Joke, Christmas Hat, and Lottery Ticket (my Christmas dinner guest always receive a Lottery Ticket !).

The main box itself is a great size, so you could treat your guests to a variety of different pressies - smellies, jewellery, cosmetics, socks, choccies, after dinner chocolates.  Endless possibilities.

I used my beautiful stamp set "Flurry of Wishes" and heat embossed a snowflake on each top panel for the main body of the box and the sentiment "Merry Christmas" to go around the top of the box.

Some pretty jewel embellishments and sparkly cording trim and glitzy ribbon were the final touches to what I believe is a really classy looking box which will look at home on the Christmas table or under your Christmas tree.

I do hope you watch my You Tube video tutorial and perhaps have a go yourself at creating this gorgeous Cracker Box.

  2. Hi Linda, thanks so very much for sharing your lovely cracker box with lid tutorial. I have whipped up 6 to take to my mum's for Christmas day. Your instructions were so easy to follow. I used a retired stamp on the box front for my snowflake, but hey it still looks great, well I think so lol. Thank goodness there are extremely clever people like yourself to work it all out for us. Hoping you have a spectacular Christmas and New Year. Cheers all the way from Australia Donna Z :)
