Customer Thank You Cards & the MISTI

Our Sale-A-Bration promotion has seen a surge in Customer Orders from people eager to get hold of products from the new 2016 Spring/Summer Catalogue together with the freebies available to choose from in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  I felt it would be appropriate to pop in a little "Thank You" card along with the usual free products and handmade gifts I send to my customers.

This 3" x 3" inch card is my latest little creation.

I tried the "Masking and Sponging" technique and also used my new MISTI to stamp the darling little flowers just where I wanted them within the sponged area of the card.

I coloured the flowers from the stamp set Serene Silhouettes using my Brights Collection Stampin' Write marker pens and this worked a treat.

I love the finished card in its simplicity.

This video tutorial demonstrates the steps involved in creating it:

Thank you for stopping by today.

Linda xx

  3. Such a lovely little card. I have M.I.S.T.I. and I find it works better to hold the card in place if I put the paper in the lower left corner and hold it with the magnet. It tends to stay in position much better. There are also several M.I.S.T.I. videos on YouTube, if you're interested. I really do love the boxes you create. . . um, maybe I'm obsessed with the boxes. I have all my templates made and a box made to match each one. You are very creative and a it's a pleasure to watch your videos.

  4. Lovely little card! I agree with you that we would sell LOADS of MISTIs if Stampin' Up carried them! Suggest it in the Product Sandbox and I will, too! If enough people suggest it, they will do their level best to get it! :) Like Wink of Stella!

  6. I was so impressed with the MISTI demo that I have pre-ordered one (unfortunately not arriving till March!!!) I have been umming and ahhing as to whether or not to buy one - the cost was putting me off - but after seeing this demo and your Hummingbird demo, I finally made my mind up. As to your card today, it is so pretty and elegant, I love it!
