All Boxed Up with Kinda Eclectic - Thove's Box

A little while ago I posted a project about my Dinky Box - a teeny little box I designed for some Lip Butter.

I received a lovely message from a lady called Thove all the way from Norway asking if I could come up with a box that was 3 x 3 and 1 inch deep.   So here is my latest design :-

The box is sturdy, having double layers for the base and lid.

I love the leafy motif from the set Kinda Eclectic - In fact I use it an awful lot. So I stamped the Whisper White Cardstock in inks which co-ordinated with the bases.   In this case Melon Mambo for one and Pool Party for the other.  I topped the boxes with flowers created using my Fun Flower Punch and the new Blossom Bunch Punch, together with the little floral punch which is part of the Itty Bitty Punch pack.   The gorgeous enamel dots are from the Its My Party pack of enamel dots.

Hope you like the project and this is my video tutorial which gives you step by step instructions on how to create the box yourself.

Thank you for stopping by today.

  2. Lovely box Linda, and the Kind of eclectic is on my wishlist.
One question please, I often see here and there that some people turn 90 degrees clockwise while scoring something. And others turn against it. In equal measurements it doesn't matter, but sometimes it does!
Do you know, as the queen of designing boxes ..... , know which is the correct way?
Sometimes I pattern does seem to be wrong, but I think it has to do with turning the wrong way.
Please can you say something helpful ?
