Luggage Case/Shots Gift Box for the Boys !

I was asked very politely by a nice gentleman from Croatia if I could come up with a masculine themed gift box in the form of some vintage luggage.   So after much thought and consideration this is it - and I really am chuffed at how it turned out.

The box itself is neat and sturdy with the lid being a good tight fit.  I think the box would also easily hold a tie instead if you did not bother adding the scored insert which is seen holding the bottle in place in the third photo.

The outside sleeve slips around the box and I have decorated this to look like a vintage luggage case.  The handle is purely for asthetics only and is not functional.  I have used retired brads for the straps and retired punches for the little faux postage stamps and stickers on the sleeve.

I am really pleased to report that I do have Davor's seal of approval for my interpretation of his suggestion.

I will be doing a video tutorial for this project over the coming week, so do pop back and visit me here.

Hope you like today's little offering and thank you for stopping by today.

Fabulous Fourish Dies

The Flourish Thinlits Dies are a big hit with me.   They are so delicate and intricate but cut so beautifully and easily.   I love soft and pretty cards, but by contrast I also love bold contrasting schemes too.

So a marriage of Black and Melon Mambo shows off just one of the dies from the set perfectly.

This pack of dies is brilliant value for money.   Only £26 for 10 separate dies :-

This card also gave me the opportunity to play with my new Layering Circle Framelits Dies which perfectly highlight the sentiment from the Floral Phrases clear mount stamp set - a perfect sentiment for a Thank You card.

I do hope you like today's project and thank you for stopping by today.

Square Scalloped Layers Two Tone Card

Melon Mambo and Smokey Slate make for a very striking colour combination and this very simple yet effective card two tone card demonstrates that.

The pretty butterfly centrepiece was diecut and stamped in Whisper White ink using one of the stamps from the Bloomin Love photopolymer stamp set.

Then I used a selection of dies from the Layering Squares Framelits Dies to form a pretty frame on which to mount the butterfly.

I did a little dry embossing using my Simply Scored and finished with a nice bold sentiment from my new set of Thank You stamps called One Big Meaning.   I even gave the envelope a little bit of treatment too !

Hope you like it.

Thank you for stopping by today - and remember there are now only seven days left of our current Bonus Days promotion where you can earn yourself a coupon worth £4.50 for every £45 you spend between now and 31 July, to use between 2 - 31 August.

Foxy's little Feline Friend

I do love a bit of punch art !

In fact - I do love punches.  I used several for this project along with the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.

When I saw the new Annual Catalogue Foxy Friends was high on my Wish List.   Well I have been steadily making inroads into that Wish List and this lovely photopolymer bundle received an airing after I spied this fabulous little card on Pinterest by Brenda Quintana :-

So filled with inspiration, I came up with my version of a kitty cat playing with a big ball of string.  These cards are such fun - and will be winging their way to some of my lovely customers in their "Thank You" packs this month.

The Foxy Friends bundle is brilliant and I believe that if you have children, they too will enjoy creating all the various little animals from Mr Foxy, the gorgeous skunk, racooon and cat.  What a fabulous way to introduce them to the world of papercrafting.

Hope you like it.

Thank you for stopping by today.
