Texture, Texture & More Texture

I am a huge fan of using different textures for my projects and my latest order got me very very excited !   The Annual catalogue/brochure packed full of fantastic Christmas product has been very well thumbed whilst I waited patiently for my order.   When it finally arrived - well any Stampin' Up! fan will get this ........... I could have kissed Mr Brown from UPS !!!

I have been just itching to get my hands on the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and it really has lived up to my expectations.

I wanted to create a Christmas Card with a nordic feel.  So I combined the Embossing Folder with elements from my beautiful new Christmas Pines photopolymer bundle.

Its only a wee little card (3 x 3), but I do think it makes a big impact.   Plenty of texture, from the embossed card, die cut elements, burlap ribbon and cutest little red jingle bell !   I mounted the pines and cones onto a die cut scallop circle and mounted the photopolymer sentiment by slightly curving it onto my size A acrylic block, stamping so that the shape of the sentiment echoed the curve of the circle.

In shades of Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Whisper White, I feel I achieved what I had in mind.

I am now sending out this card with free copies of my Annual brochure.  The sentiment inside reads "May the Simple Joys of the Season by Yours", and it comes complete with an envelope for you to use and send to somebody over the Christmas season.   Simply request the brochure and an identical card will be yours !

Thank you for stopping by today.

Linda
