Bella & Friends Notelets Boxed Set

There is now so much talk of Christmas that I thought it would be nice to create a project that in no way relates to Christmas.

We all need cards for different occasions and I decided to put together a little set of four co-ordinating cards using the very cute Bella & Friends stamp set set and also used some sentiments from my Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

I adore the Bella & Friends stamp set.  It puts me in mind of my own dear little dog Lenny.  Lenny is now 15 years old and still as cute as a button, although sadly age has not been kind.  He is completely deaf, almost totally blind now and extremely arthritic.

But I like to think of the mischevious little chap that wagged his way into my life all those years ago. As a pup he had the same cuteness as the little dog featured in this adoreable stamp set.

So, these are the four little cards I created for my boxed set.

I created layers of colour co-ordinating card stock and Designer Series Papers using colours from the Brights and the Subtles collections.  I stamped the images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and heat embossed the images using some clear Stamp n Emboss powder to create the shiny little dog. I then coloured the focal point using my Stampin! Write marker pens and die cut the toppers using my Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.  The toppers were adhered over some ribbon onto the layered base using Dimensionals to give a little height to the focal point.

Then I stuck the collective layers onto cards from the Note Cards and Envelopes packs in Whisper White.

Here are the dimensions for the little box which is made using thick Whisper White cardstock:-

Long side score @ 1, 4 3/4", 5 3/4", 9 1/2" inches

Short side score @ 1/2, 1 1/2", 6 3/4" and 7 3/4" inches

Top layers measure :  4 3/4" x 3 1/4" inches
                                   4 1/2" x 3 1/8" inches
                                   4 1/4" x 2 7/8" inches

And before I love you and leave you, here is a photo of my dear little Lenny in happy and healthier times :-

Thank you for stopping by today - hope you like this little project and my gorgeous little boy.

Bye for now.

Handy Customer Christmas List Notebook using Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies

Christmas is almost upon us and if you are anything like me, you probably make lots of lists.  Lists of presents for people, lists of food, lists of beverages, lists of guests............ and so it goes on.

So from this week and leading up to Christmas, I am sending out little covered notebooks to my customers, ideal to slip into your handbag, when you go out shopping for those Christmas goodies.

Appropriately, they have a little Christmas Bauble topper.

I used Melon Mambo cardstock, gold foil card and paper from the Brights Designer Series 12 x 12 paper stack.

I also used for the first time my new Big Shot Platform.  It has an adapter specifically for use with thin dies and it cuts these delicate dies perfectly.  No need for the precision plate.

I think these gorgeous little notebooks are simple, small and neat and really useful right now.

These are being sent out to all customers, no matter how big or small the order as a little "Thank You" for shopping with me.

Thanks for stopping by today - don't forget to check out the Extravaganza via my 24 hour online shop.   Click HERE

Bye for now.

Something to Celebrate !

I have something very special to me that I would like to take the time to share. I don't usually blow my own trumpet, but something happened last week that was so exciting.

My upline, Sam, announced her yearly results for her team and I am so thrilled to tell you that I was named the No. 1 leader in her very successful team.

This is a huge deal for me, because when I joined Stampin' Up! three years ago, I only joined so that I could obtain wonderful SU card stock, inks, stamps etc at a 20% discount.  I never in my wildest dreams expected to head up my very own team, let alone drum up sales and acquire a fantastic and loyal customer base and earn bonuses along the way.

I have so much to be very grateful for - and more importantly to be proud of.  I am proud to be part of such a great supportive team, headed up by a very encouraging team leader.

I am also really proud of my own very lovely and supportive team, Crafty's Angels which has grown steadily throughout this year.  They are a great support to me in many many ways.

I count my blessings every day that I discovered Stampin' Up! and am having a ball enjoying my hobby, sharing projects and helping to inspire people to try the projects and to even join Stampin' Up! and more importantly for me, to join my own lovely team.

So this is the perfect opportunity for me to say a big "Thank You" to my team leader Sam, my own fantastic team Crafty's Angels, to Stampin' Up! and to my lovely and loyal customers for everything.

It just seems appropriate to share here my latest project, a Thank You card.

These little cards were made using the gorgeous background stamp, Definitely Dahlia.  Using Whisper White card stock, I covered half of the image in Blushing Bride ink and sponged on some Melon Mambo using my sponge daubers for one card.  I used Pool Party ink and sponged on some Tempting Turquoise for the other.

A little shout out here to a fellow demo Anna Krol @ Anna's Stamping Cave whose recent Swap inspired my card.

I laser printed the sentiment onto each stamped piece of card and then foiled the sentiments in gorgeous complimentary shades of foil, using my Minc.  I am thrilled with the professional looking finish.

If you would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I would love to hear from you.

Oh and before I forget - all my new team members receive a little thank you gift from me when they join with me !

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.
