Life Begins After Coffee ! Foiled Coaster Project with So Detailed Thinlits Box

One of my fabulous customers sent me a Christmas present which has inspired today's project.

Karen often pops gorgeous cards and beautifully gift packaged goodies in the post to me and I am always inspired by her.

At Christmas I received a beautiful little acrylic coaster which she had made for me.   I did some research online and found a supplier of clear acrylic coasters into which you can add photos etc.

So .... out came my fabulous Minc foiling machine and I made this !

I found the inspirational quote on Pinterest (I have even exchanged the word "Coffee" for "Tea" on the coaster I made for my husband, as he just loves a good old cuppa tea).  I created an A5 document in Microsoft Word and laser printed it.  You cannot foil an items using an inkjet printer.  The card stock is Chocolate Chip.  It really enhances the Gold foiling.

I have someone in mind for this particular coaster - she drinks coffee by the bucket load !

Of course I just had to make a pretty little gift box.  I think the gold So Detailed Thinlits die cut which has been cut to size, looks stunning !

Hope you like today's crafty project - and thank you Karen for the inspiration.   Here is a photo of Karen's lovely gift to me which sits on my craft desk:-

Bye for now.
