What Is It ? I'm calling it my Bird House Box in a Bundle of Love !!

What can I say ?   When I saw the Bundle of Love Speciality Designer Series 12 x 12,  it was amongst the first things on my Wish List from the new Annual Catalogue.   I don't actually invest in many packs of DSP, but this pack had me at the get go.

So .....I needed to come up with a pretty little box.   I sat for what seemed like hours until inspiration finally hit me like a tonne of bricks.

So here it is   ...................my Bird House Gift Box !  I have to say that I have not come across one, despite hours of trawling Pinterest and You Tube.   So just maybe ........its original ?

Bird House Gift Box Tutorial

This gorgeous little box is, in all honesty, not the sturdiest, but it is perfect for small and light weight  pretty little gifts.  I am normally a "sturdy box" girl.  But this one is the exception to my rule and I have to say, I am proud of it and I just love it.

So ................crack open some pretty DSP folks ... and mosey on over and take a little look at my latest video tutorial.  I do hope you love the design as much as I do:-

DSP measures:- 7" x 9 1/2" inches

Long side - score @ 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2", 6", 7 1/2" and 9" inches

Short side - score @ 1 1/2", 4 1/2" 5" and 5 1/2" inches

Notch @ 3/4", 2 1/4", 3 3/4",  5 1/4", 6 3/4" and 8 1/4" inches

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Its much appreciated.

Enjoy your day - hope it's a creative one !!

Linda Keeley is a Genius ! Check this Out - Stamping onto Fabric with Waterbased Inks

I am proud and very lucky to head up a team of really talented papercrafters, and today I just wanted to share an amazing project by one my team, Linda Keeley, who is not only a gifted papercrafter, she is also a proficient seamstress.

Linda has found an amazing way to stamp and fix images in the beautiful array of Stampin' Up! waterbased inks onto fabric.  She has designed a gorgeous little bag stamped in Daisy Delight to demonstrate how successful the process is.

Please hop on over to her Blog by clicking on the photo below for more details of her exciting project:-

Fresh Florals & Label Me Pretty Customer Thank You's

Just how pretty and summery are the new Fresh Florals in the gorgeous new In Colour Lemon Lime Twist !

I think these customer Thank You cards and gifts demonstrate perfectly just how key colour co-ordinating card, papers, inks and products is to achieving a professional and well balanced look to a project.

Here I have used Fresh Florals DSP, Lemon Lime Twist card stock and ink together with the Label me Pretty Bundle of stamps and punch, which at £27.75 is incredible value for money.  The sentiment on the card pops as this has been punched with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch and mounted on dimensionals, and then layered onto Oval Stitched Shapes die cuts.  I used the pretty new Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon on the co-ordinating gift boxes, which is very soft and pretty.

Packages of these goodies are going out in the post today to this week's customers. The super sparkly Clear Faceted Gems are being sent out to all customers who order with me during June - its my little blingy way of celebrating the new Annual Catalogue and all the fabulous and inspiring new products.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look today.  Hope you like them.

Today, I shall be working on packaging for my Hostess Rewards Club participants who used my Hostess Code during May.  I do love my job !

Bye for now.
