Colorful Seasons Bundle - Pretty Covered Note Books

I went into mass production mode yesterday.

Out came the beautiful Year of Cheer DSP, some plain little note books (from Asda) and the lovely Colorful Seasons Bundle.

I do love this Bundle and have not really had the opportunity to have a little play with it yet.

First I cut the DSP into 3" x 12" inch strips and then in half again into 3" x 6" inch strips and covered each little note pad.

As the summer is drawing to a close and autumn is breathing down our necks now, I decided that the pretty little skeleton leaf die would be an appropriate choice and  look quite striking in both silver and gold on this project.  I stamped and heat embossed the lovely sentiment and die cut it with a Stitched Shapes Circle Die.

I die cut the leaf many times in both silver and gold.  The die was easy to work with and cut beautifully and easily.  I was really impressed with the detail in the die.

One solitary leaf on each note book looks really stylish and eye-catching and the sentiment is a thought provoking one.  Life is a beautiful thing.

So, after a morning of die-cutting many pretty leaves and beautifying some plain little notebooks I was really pleased with the end result.

These little note books will be winging their way through the post today to last week's customers together with a co-ordinating handmade card and a surprise sample product from the new Seasonal Catalogue.

Well that's it from me for now - I would love you to pop tomorrow. I have a really cute dinky project which involves chocolate !!!!

Bye for now,

Linda xx
