No problem !!
I have never quite gotten to grips with Sweet Sugarplum..... until, that is, my latest order arrived. I ordered the Sweet Sugarplum Striped Crosgrain Ribbon and by golly it's gorgeous !
I really like the idea of making Christmas Cards in non-traditional Christmas colours and decided to give Sweet Sugarplum a go.
Now, although I do have some Wreath shaped dies in my own crafty stash, I decided to improvise with some scalloped circle dies from my Layering Circles Framelits Dies for this card.
I used the floral stamp from the Wood Words stamp set and and stamped it out several times onto Sweet Sugarplum cardstock with Versamark, and heat embossed in White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
Then I cut out a scalloped circle shape using two of my scalloped circle dies - the smaller one was used to cut out the middle section.
I love the sentiment stamped on a layer of Whisper White card stock, which is from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set along with the pretty little decorative motif at the top of my card.
I added some "bling" with strategically place little rhinestones and made a sweet little bow with my lovely new stripey ribbon.
The Sweet Sugarplum card base fits a C6 envelope.
I rather like how it turned out - I think I am a Sweet Sugarplum convert !
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have a lovely lazy Sunday.
I have a new puppy - who has quite physically objected to me writing up this post. He has been hitting at my keyboard with his paws and nipping gently at my hands as I type. So I get the message Teddy ! I am off for a play.
Bye for now,
