Tiny Glamorous Red Glittery Christmas Box - Dressed up with Stitched Felt and Quilted Christmas Ribbon

Having veered away from traditional Christmas colours for my various gift boxes so far this year on the lead-up to Christmas (61 days and counting to see your gift packaging projects bear fruition), yesterday I decided to go all traditional.

So out came my Red Glimmer paper.

I made this cute little 2 1/4" inch cubed box.

Its a very sweet size and cool for those little dinky gifts like cosmetics, bits of costume jewellery, keyrings etc.

I dressed it simply with that gorgeous Quilted Christmas Ribbon from the Seasonal Catalogue which is in Real Red and Garden Green.  This is complimented by the pretty little Stitched Felt Holly Leaf in the same co-ordinating colours.

I stamped up the little Merry Christmas Sentiment in Real Red ink and punched it out with my handy little Classic Label Punch.

And there you have it - a glamorous glittering cube of loveliness.  Almost too pretty to open !

The recipe is:-

Card stock measures 8 x 9 1/2" inches

Long side score @ 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 6 3/4" & 9" inches

Short side score @ 5/8", 2 7/8", 5 1/8" & 7 3/8" inches

The photo below shows the areas shaded in orange highlighter which should be removed.  The arrows show where to cut for the lid and side flaps.

This photo shows how your template should appear after cutting (I rounded off the corners that will tuck in to close the box - this helps the box to close easily)

These would look great in our Gold, Silver and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper also.

Well that's all from me today.  Thanks for stopping by and please pop back again.

Linda xx
