Clear Embossed Birthday Blooms - Powder Pink & Black

I know, you are probably thinking "Has she only got the one stamp set ? !!!!"

I have given this stamp set a good run for its money over the last month.

Today I needed a sophisticated card for a sophisticated lady and I do think that Powder Pink and Black makes for a classy colour combination.

I think there is something very striking about clear heat embossed images.  So I took a panel of Powder Pink card stock and stamped all over it with the large floral motif using clear Versamark, but before doing so, I stamped on the sentiment which is from the stamp set Beautiful You.

I also stamped in clear Versamark onto a piece of Black cardstock, applying clear embossing powder and setting it with my heat tool.

I die cut the heart with my Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies, added some dimensionals to give the heart some height and dimension before adhering to the Powder Pink panel.

Then I simply added my panel to a C6 card base, finishing off with a Shimmery Powder Pink ribbon bow.

If you are thinking of placing any order with me please don't forget to use my November Hostess Code BE9SP9SK, so that I can include you in my November Reward Club.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.  See you tomorrow !

Linda xx

  3. Looking La La Linda fees chic! Mmmm black and powder pink is one of my favourite colour combos because it is soo femanin especially when the black has been embossed with clear embossed powder! I used to wear a lot of pink in various tones with dove grey in my 20's and 30's. I worked as a Nursery Nurse in St Thomas's hospital London and my uniform was a pink dress with a white apron and black tights and lace up shoes. I loved it! Our white caps had two pink Strips round them.

  4. Hi Linda, thank you for demonstrating how to use a stamp set to its full potential. Sometimes it seems like demonstrators use stamp set after stamp set in their videos or blogs. I know this is to show what is available and what can be done with it, but sometimes it feels like we, as crafters are being bombarded into having ti have more stamp sets or dies. What you have done Linda, is help us crafters by showing us how to use a stamp set in a variety of different ways to create different cards. Thank you so much it is really appreciated. :O)
