So I decided to put them to good use with this sweet little card. It was really lovely to break out a beautiful array of complimentary colours. For this card I used Berry Blush, Island Indigo, Pool Party, So Saffron, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizza - so a right old assortment of brights and subtles, and I think they all work wonderfully together.
I thought it would be nice to add some texture to my card and the lovely shiny enamel dots do that very subtly.
What is not clear really from the photo, is that this card is layered onto a piece of fun foam cut to the same size as the Berry Burst layer (3 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches) and then mounted onto a Note Card base which measures 5 x 3 1/2 inches. (The note cards and envelopes come in packs of 20 for £5.50). I find that a layer of fun foam makes the card feel like it has real quality and substance.
Well that's it from me for today - just a sweet and colourful little Birthday Card. I love how colourful it is.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I do hope you will pop back.
