Using Up Those Scraps Again - Its a Scrap Rainbow With Lovely Words !!

I used some Multi-Adhesive Sheets and lots of scraps to create this little rainbow of a card.

Its all very bright and colourful - miles away from my usual work, but I have to say it was fun working with so many bright and cheery colours to achieve this one.  I like the big warm hug smack bang in the middle of it too !

This really is a great way to use up your scraps if you can't bear to throw them away.

Hope you like and maybe feel inspired to have a go at creating your own rainbow.

Thanks for looking and please pop back again.

Have a great day.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous !

Happy Birthday Gorgeous is such a lovely stamp set.  I love the font style, the sentiments and all the pretty little floral motifs, not forgetting the balloons, although I have not used them for this sweet little card.

I miss not having Kraft card stock available to order from Stampin' Up!, but Crumb Cake is a great alternative.

I used some white heat embossing and my blender pen to add some pretty colouring to my card, and chose to frame my Crumb Cake Layer with some Tempting Turquoise.   I felt it needed just a little something extra so added some sweet little die cut Move Me butterflies.

I love the simplicity.

Today is going to be very busy - I am packing and posting all February's "Thank You Packs", "VIP" Packs and catalogue requests.   Better make an early start !!!

Thanks for looking.  I hope you will pop back again.

Bye for now.

Its a Mellow Yellow Birthday Card for a Special Friend - Awesomely Artistic (Yet Again !!)

My lovely friend June has an aversion to yellow !!

Oh how I love to tease her about it !   I knew her birthday was looming so I threatened (promised) her that I would be creating her a little something in her "favourite" colour.

I heat embossed some white embossing powder over two thirds of my card, sponged over in white ink to give the card a really soft ethereal look.  Then I applied some colour to the stamped image with my blender pen.

The butterfly is from the Move Me Thinlits set.

Would love to have been a fly on the wall when she opened this one.

The irony is - she said she likes it !   Has she been converted ?   You never know.

Thanks for looking.  I would love you to pop back again !
