Pop Open/Self-Closing Sour Cream Carton Style Treat Pouches in Petal Promenade DSP

These sour cream carton style treat pouches pop open and snap shut and are perfect for holding little treats.  The supplies needed to make them are minimal and mine are decorated with just a simple bow and a subtle sparkly trim - making them understated but quite sophisticated.

They are super quick and super easy to make, and you can get four of these out of just one sheet of 12 x 12 inch DSP (48 out of one complete pack).

I made mine using Petal Promenade DSP.  I have made loads of projects with it this week and think it is just beautiful.

The pouches would make brilliant Wedding Favours, Pillow Gifts, and Dinner Party settings, etc.

Below is my video tutorial giving you step by step instructions on how I made mine.

Hope you like today's project and I hope you have a lovely day.  Thanks for looking.

  1. Super, I shall be trying this very soon. I have lots of 6" x 6" paper which will be very useful.

  2. A brilliant project Linda, made with a small piece of DSP (4 out of a sheet of 12 x 12") and created in under 10 minutes. I think that if these were being made for Wedding favours that they would be able to be put together in a short amount of time. I think that they look so professional and the fact that the top pops open and closed means that the recipient does not have to tear open the package and it can be kept for another occasion perhaps. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O) xxx
