Subtle Embossing, Stitched Labels & A Little Thank You

Keeping it very simple - today (if a little late) I have a simple yet stylish card in Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

Like yesterday's cards, I used the lovely new Subtle Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder for my base layer.  The embossed impression is just as the title suggests, really subtle and soft.

The Stitched Labels Framelits Die which I selected creates a perfect and pretty background topper for the lovely bold Thank You die-cut, of which the top layer is in matching Crumb Cake card stock adhered to three Whisper White die-cuts of the same word, providing super and distinctive dimension.

I added some ribbon and linen twine just for added texture.

I rather like the finished card - its understated and everything is just very subtle.

That's it from me.  Off to watch the World Cup Final.

Bye for now.

Linda xx

  1. A very classy card Linda, I love the Crumb Cake and White combo. I also love how you have threaded the thin white ribbon through the die cut framelit too. The large 'Thank You' die cut sentiment is the 'star of the show' on top of the whisper white die cut framelit. I wish my creativity was as good as yours, I had to be called down for the World Cup Final by my hubby after the first 30 minutes has gone because I was still finishing off a project. Football over now so lots of time to craft! :O) xx
