I
have been asked by many of my Facebook followers whether I have a Blog
and finally decided to take the plunge and dive into the world of
Blogging. I have to send a very grateful thanks to my wonderful friend
Lea Denton who has spent a great deal of her free time making this Blog a
reality for me. Without her, there would be no Blog – as I am a
technical numpty !!!
Please take the time to visit Lea’s own wonderful Blog called “The Crafty Spark” http://www.thecraftyspark.co.uk/ It’s packed full of her brilliant projects. Like me, Lea also sells kits of her various projects and more besides !!
I do hope you will pop by periodically to see what I have been up to.
Today's box is a monochromatic one which showcases the stunning Stampin' Up! colour Bermuda Bay and how co-ordinating cardstock, designer series papers and ink can produce a stunningly pretty gift box.
- The box is a fold flat box which measures 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. So a decent sized box.
- I have applied Bermuda Bay coloured paper from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paperstack of 6 x 6 papers.
- I stamped out a Butterfly from the gorgeous Polymer Stamp Set called Watercolour Wings
- I then die cut it using the Bold Butterfly framelits. The smaller intricate die cut which I have layered on top is also one of the Bold Butterfly framelits.
Here is the recipe !!
Cardstock : 9 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches
Designer Series Paper : 2 strips of 1 1/8 x 4 1/4 (inches) for the sides
2 pieces of 4 1/8 x 2 7/8 (inches) for the top and bottom
Designer Series Paper : 2 strips of 1 1/8 x 4 1/4 (inches) for the sides
2 pieces of 4 1/8 x 2 7/8 (inches) for the top and bottom
Score on long side : 1 /4, 4 1/2, 5 3/4 and 9 (inches)
