The Accordion Card itself is double backed - hence the depth of the box to hold it.
I used the beautiful Corner Garden background stamp, stamping the image twice in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then cutting four panels to layer upon each section of the Accordion Card (I used Pool Party cardstock for the basic card). I also stamped part of the image using my clear Versamark Watermark pad on the front section of the Box and heat embossed the image using White Stampin Emboss powder.
I die cut the butterfly from my Bold Butterfly framelit dies twice (one for the card and one for the box).
Here are the instructions for the Card.

ReplyDeleteHey Linda - Loved your creations so much & tried to re-create them. I've done something wrong - the box is too long on one end and the card is too long for the box. Help!
ReplyDeleteLove all your videos - keep 'em coming!

Janet - What can I say - I boobed. So sorry. I have corrected the measurements for the box. I cannot offer an explanation other than I should have double checked. Please accept my sincerest apologies. xx
DeleteHi Linda - No worries!! Thanks for your help. Off now to start again!!

Hi Linda! Love your projects. I found the same difficulty as the comment before me. I think I figured out the problem. One of the score lines on the short side is incorrect. So it should read :Score on the short side at 1/2, 1 3/8, 5 5/8, 6 1/2. The tutorial has 5 3/8 which makes all the difference with the card fitting in the box. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteBarbara - Again, as with Janet above, please accept my apologies and my grateful thanks to you for pointing this out. Much appreciated xx That was very kind of you x
DeleteYour very welcome. This is a beautiful project! Thank you for sharing it. xx
