Hello and welcome to my latest project !
I was really thrilled with the reaction to my Teacup and Mug tutorials and thought they seemed incomplete without a Teapot - so after researching the internet and drawing a blank I decided to create my own which is in keeping with the design of both the Teacup and Mug.
Pinterest was full of beautiful designs that had either been done on Cricuts or there were templates to download. I was after something that could be created from scratch. Measurements can be adapted to suit your own requirements using my method.
I used both my Simply Scored and my Envelope Punch Board. I hope you like what I came up with. I particularly like the floral finial.
I filmed the tutorial in two parts and here they are : -
Thank you for stopping by today.

DeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI just finished making 12 Christmas Theme Mugs, and filled them with packets of hot chocolate, and now I'm making your Teapot for a friend for her birthday. I found it easier to glue the triangles rather then threading them with ribbon. It seems to work quite well. So glad that you finally got a blog, as I don't care for facebook.
Glad to hear that glueing the triangles worked for you Ann. May give it a go myself ! x
DeleteSorry, I should have stated that the gluing of the triangles is for the lid.
ReplyDeleteI have just finished the teapot and 2 cups for a tea loving friend. I have really enjoyed making them and really enjoy all the videos and projects you have shown. Really appreciate all the work and research you do to make the different projects. Thank you x
ReplyDeleteThank you Shelley. Its really nice to know that you appreciate the things I share x
DeleteOMGH so cute and will have to try and make this. Hoping to meet up with my sister for the weekend will have to make this and 2 cups . Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. SO CUTE
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Love your projects. Had a bit of trouble with the DSP for the lid and couldn't get the triangles to work out. You don't state the dimensions of the DSP for the lid so I tried to figure it out based on the measurements of the card stock for the lid. They could look better but I did the best I could.Maybe I missed something. Plan on making more for all my friends who love tea. Great Christmas gift. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara. I am so sorry I messed up re the triangle pieces. I have annotated the correct measurements and all the correcting notching and scoring on the video now. So follow the written annotation and not the verbal instructions given.
DeleteThankyou for sharing this wonderfull tutorial. I will give it ago
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh ... it's beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing this. Will have to make some of them for my group of stamp girls : ) which by the way are tea drinkers.
