Guylian Box Sleeve

A while back on Facebook I posted a Guylian Box Sleeve which I had designed using my Ovals Collection Framelits.   Whilst it looked very attractive, to be honest it was a bit tricky to pull off in a video tutorial due to trying to measure up the scallops equally.   So I shelved that idea - although there were a lot of requests for instructions.

Anyway, I went away and simplified it.  This pretty little Box Sleeve is the result:

I used Island Indigo cardstock and heat embossed in gold some stamped images from the photopolymer set Bloomin' Love which gives a smart ornate look.

The sentiment which was heat embossed also is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.   I punched it out using the 1 1/2" Circle Punch and layered it upon a piece of gold foil card which was punched with the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch.

This is a super quick and easy project and I think it is a lovely way to present a little chocolate treat to someone who deserves it.

Here is my video tutorial which gives step by step instructions on how to create one yourself:

I do hope you like it.

Thank you for stopping by today.

  1. Indigo blue is a wonderful color for a wonderful box! Thanks for sharing Linda!

  2. I absolutely loved the box. However I'm in the US and we do not have Guylain chocolates. I was wondering about the measurements of the box. I know I could probably find box chocolates here the same or nearly the same size to use.

  3. I love this idea, the box sleeve looks beautiful and classy. I shall have to buy a box of these chocolates now, just so I can have a go at making this! ;) x

  4. Beautiful box; I love Indigo blue, which isn't used often enough. I too live in the US and will have to go shopping to see what tempting chocolate will fit. TFS

  5. So glad you posted this, it's a brilliant idea. Love it ❤️ X
