Hello
Today's projects are these super quick and easy Treat Pouches.
These are generous in size. Each holds 5 Lindor Chocolates (which themselves are generous in size).
They literally take minutes to make but are so pretty.
I felt they would be ideal as Teacher Gifts, now that the school holidays are looming.
You can make them as pretty or as masculine as you wish.
I used papers from the Neutrals 12 x 12 Designer Series Pack and also the Subtles 12 x 12 Designer Series Pack - Smokey Slate and Pink Pirouette. I added beautiful glittery Wash Tape to both, which I received as a freebie during the recent Sale-A-Bration promotion.
On doing some research I found that some people refer to this style of packaging as "Sour Cream Sachets", and they are usually sealed shut with double-sided tape at both ends. Seems such a shame to me. I am all for recycling and giving mine a ribbon fastening closure means they can be used again.
I used 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" paper for each and this is my video tutorial which gives you instructions on how to make them.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Linda x

Hi thank you they are stunning and very useful. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteThank you Jackie :) and really nice and easy. You can use any nice papers you have and embellish.
DeleteHi Linda great tutorial, I just love your treat pouches, and as you said it's a great idea for end of term presents for teachers (which is looming around the corner.) I'd better get started so I'm ahead of myself!! :) I received my beautiful butterfly stamp, and a very special envelope, I just wanted to say thank you very much, service from Stampin up is amazing! The yellow envelope was a huge surprise, and I was thrilled to say the least, thank you Linda so very very much. Hugs Calxx
ReplyDeleteCal ! I am so pleased you now have the Swallowtail and even more pleased you think the service is "great". So nice to know. Thank you for you lovely comment. Happy that you are happy !!!!! xx
DeleteHi Linda
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely project with very clear instructions.
Where do you get your double sided tape from? It always looks so easy to peel off whereas the one I use is difficult and static.
keep up the good work

Thank you very much indeed. I use Stix2 which I get from Hobbycraft.
