I was asked very politely by a nice gentleman from Croatia if I could come up with a masculine themed gift box in the form of some vintage luggage. So after much thought and consideration this is it - and I really am chuffed at how it turned out.
The box itself is neat and sturdy with the lid being a good tight fit. I think the box would also easily hold a tie instead if you did not bother adding the scored insert which is seen holding the bottle in place in the third photo.
The outside sleeve slips around the box and I have decorated this to look like a vintage luggage case. The handle is purely for asthetics only and is not functional. I have used retired brads for the straps and retired punches for the little faux postage stamps and stickers on the sleeve.
I am really pleased to report that I do have Davor's seal of approval for my interpretation of his suggestion.
I will be doing a video tutorial for this project over the coming week, so do pop back and visit me here.
Hope you like today's little offering and thank you for stopping by today.
