Project Revised - Window Sheet Covered Birthday Card

I have been seeing some really lovely creations on Pinterest using the new Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies and wanted to make something a little different using mine.

So I have come up with this pretty Birthday Card which has a window sheet cover.

Its a simple idea and a nice way to give a Birthday Card.

I use two stamp sets for this card.  Floral Phrases and Birthday Blooms.

I chose to showcase one of the new In Colours using Sweet Sugarplum card stock and ink for this project.

I originally designed this as a card come magnetic gift card holder.

Clearly there was a reason why I was hopeless at science at school and failed miserably !!   A keen eyed lady questioned the use of magnets with the gift card and on investigating, although asthetically pleasing, the idea was wholly impractical as apparently the magnets would interfere with the details contained in the bar code of the gift card.

So back to the drawing board on that one for me.   However, I still love the basic card itself with the clear window sheet which adds just a little something special (and keeps the card clean !!!!)..

The card fits into a standard C6 envelope.

I do hope you approve of today's project and thank you very much for stopping by today.
