I have been lucky to receive some lovely new stamp sets from my team leader as a reward for my recruiting and leadership achievements during the last Stampin' Up! year which ended at the end of September.
Amongst them is the gorgeous Penned & Painted Photopolymer stamp set, which is a two step stamping set. Its my sister's birthday today and I wanted to do a personalised card for her incoporating some foiling. So, I used a layer of Pink Pirouette card stock and stamped on the beautiful petals and leaves using Blushing Bride for the Flowers and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.
I just kept it very simple.
I feel a sense of creative freedom in being able to add things to a card which mean something personally to me and also to my recipients, and have found that laser printing and then foiling my own sentiments is so liberating. My cards are now able to say exactly what I want them to say.
I added a layer of Gold card and adhered to a base layer of thick Whisper White cardstock.
I am so happy with this pretty personalised and feminine card - I hope you like it too. More importantly - I hope Annie likes it
Happy Birthday Sis !!
Whilst I was creating this card, hubby made a request for one for a poorly work colleague. Again, I was able to come up with a nicely personalised Get Well Card using the same stamp set - and "yes" ....that is how she spells her name.
Thanks for stopping by.
Bye for now.
Linda
