I took inspiration from yet another of her wonderful YouTube tutorials to make this sweet little card and I had great fun in doing so !
It's brilliant when the tools we purchase with one purpose in mind, i.e. die-cutting can be utilised for another purpose which we hadn't ever intended.
As soon as I saw her video for Reverse Die Impressions, I knew I had to give it a go. The key to this technique is to remember that your die needs to be a symmetrical one. So for this purpose, the Bold Butterfly Framelits were ideal.
After I had embossed mine, I decided to add a watercolour wash.
Then I die cut an intricate butterfly with my Butterflies Thinlits dies.
I love how this turned out. Its a great technique which I will be revisiting as my head is now buzzing with ideas.
That's my little offering for today. Hope you feel inspired to have a go too.
Thanks for stopping by.
Ciao for now,
Linda xxx
