Butterflies and Beautiful You in Blue !

Beautiful You really is my favourite stamp set from the 2017 Spring/Summer catalogue.

The gorgeous images are perfect for using your Inks and Blender Pens, Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Painters or even for decoupaging.   There are some wonderful and useful sentiments too.

So I took this image and decided to use my Tempting Turquoise ink and Blender Pen to colour in my lady.

I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink which I then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  This helps to contain the colour and prevents it from bleeding into other areas.

Stampin' Up! has the perfect array of co-ordinating inks, papers, card and embellishments, making super easy to create a beautifully co-ordinated finish.  I chose to use some co-ordinating pretty DSP from the Brights 12 x 12 Designer Series Paperstack to frame my stamped image and also for the pretty delicate little butterflies which were die cut using the new Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies.

I mounted the layered finished image onto a pre-cut Whisper White notelet card.  These come in packs of 20 with envelopes and measure 5 x 3 1/2 inches.

I really do love this super sophisticated image.  The sentiment is lovely and I think this card could be used for a variety of occasions.

Thanks for stopping by - hope this inspires you to get out your pens and ink and have a go too.

I just wanted to pop in a reminder here that I am running a raffle throughout Sale A Bration.   For every order placed with me between now and the end of Sale A Bration (31 March 2017), I am sending out a Raffle Ticket to that customer.    I will do a draw following 31 March and the lucky winner will receive a prize of a Simply Scored board, Paper Piercer and Bone Folder.  Remmber, you've gotta be in it to win it !!

Oh and its not to late to place a cheeky order to qualify for a FREE complimentary pack of the gorgeous new delicate Lace Doilies, which I am giving to all customers placing orders with me during January.

Bye for now.

Sweet & Sassy meets the Sealed With Love Bundle ! Valentine Flip Card

I don't think I've every made and shared a Flip Card - so here is a little something I have been working on/playing with and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not your conventional Valentine's colours, but I do really have a fondness for the beautiful and vibrant Bermuda Bay.  So I have kept this monochromatic, using all co-ordinating ink, cardstock and DSP from the Brights 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper Stack.

I used my Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies and combined them with dies and stamps from the Sealed With Love Bundle.

It was great fun and I gave my beloved Big Shot a thorough workout today !  I do love Flip Cards and intend to experiment with lots of different dies.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope this may inspire you to have a go.

Bye for now.

Valentine Treat Pouches - So Quick and Easy !

With Valentine's Day approaching I thought I would put together a super quick and easy

These pouches are made with 6 x 6 inch papers.  I used 6 x 6 Sealed With Love Designer Series Paper.   But you get four of these out of one sheet of 12 x 12 paper.

The pouches are surprisingly roomy - each having the capacity to hold 8 decent sized chocolate hearts, nom, nom, nom !!!!!!!!!!

The toppers are made with Sweet and Sassy Framelits dies and finished off with the sweet little 3D heart complete with arrow, which are from the new Love Notes Framelits dies.  These can be purchased separately or as part of the Sealed With Love photopolymer bundle (details below).

I came across a YouTube tutorial by Stamping With Amore, in which she made these using retired product, so I decided to recreate her project using products from the new 2017 Spring/Summer catalogue.

So, if you fancy having a go, here is a quick video tutorial. Blink and you'll miss it !!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today.

Bye for now.
