The gorgeous images are perfect for using your Inks and Blender Pens, Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Painters or even for decoupaging. There are some wonderful and useful sentiments too.
So I took this image and decided to use my Tempting Turquoise ink and Blender Pen to colour in my lady.
I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink which I then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This helps to contain the colour and prevents it from bleeding into other areas.
Stampin' Up! has the perfect array of co-ordinating inks, papers, card and embellishments, making super easy to create a beautifully co-ordinated finish. I chose to use some co-ordinating pretty DSP from the Brights 12 x 12 Designer Series Paperstack to frame my stamped image and also for the pretty delicate little butterflies which were die cut using the new Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies.
I mounted the layered finished image onto a pre-cut Whisper White notelet card. These come in packs of 20 with envelopes and measure 5 x 3 1/2 inches.
I really do love this super sophisticated image. The sentiment is lovely and I think this card could be used for a variety of occasions.
Thanks for stopping by - hope this inspires you to get out your pens and ink and have a go too.
