Happy 60th Birthday to a lovely crafty friend - So Detailed meets Succulent Thinlits Dies

Well - she is today officially 60.  Happy Birthday June (actually it was yesterday - but I wanted to be sure she had received it before sharing it here !!!!).

I have become acquainted with a really lovely lady through our mutual love of paper crafting.   We have attended a crafting workshop together, chat over Facebook regularly and soon I shall be putting on my dancing shoes and helping her celebrate this landmark birthday in style !!

So I felt it was only fitting to create a special card for her, capturing the style of card we
made at the workshop we both attended last year, but this time using Stampin' Up! products.

So here it is :-

I don't normally make large cards - this is a 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 inch card.  The So Detailed Thinlits fit within the top layer perfectly, creating the delicate backdrop for the pretty flowers which are from the Succulents Thinlits Dies.   The ivy leaves are not a Stampin' Up! product, but I felt they added something special.

As it is a large card - I used both my Gemini Cutter and my Big Shot.  The Big Shot cut the flowers, leaves and toppers.    The Geminia cut the background So Detailed Dies.

I created a little glitz by adding Dazzling Diamonds to the number 60, having applied some Versamark and Heat and Stick beforehand.

She has safely received my card now - so I am able to share it with you.

Hope you like it.

Please do remember that if you place an order with me which is under £150, to use this months Hostess Code RRBKPVFD.  This will ensure that you are a participant in my Reward Club, and in March you will receive a lovely free Stampin' Up! product courtesy of me.
