Petal Garden - Quick & Easy Cards in a Hurry

I found myself requiring a lot of cards but with very little time to spare.

These proved to be just perfect.   Small but pretty, quick and easy.

I use 3 x 3 card bases.   I cut some sheets of Petal Garden Designer Series Paper into four.  The stacks of  DSP are 6 x 6 inch papers, so I got four pretty layers from each sheet to adhere to my card bases.

Out came my 1 1/2 and 2 inch circle punches and my Flirty Flowers stamp set and I quickly completed 15 cards in around 25 minutes.

Petal Garden, Stampin' Up!, Linda Parker

The punches are so very handy for creating focal points/frames for sentiments.  No need for a die cutter when you want a centrepiece in a hurry.

Old Olive is the colour used in this DSP but I didn't have any card in that colour.  I found that Pear Pizzazz toned really rather well instead.

I love these beautiful papers - they call to mind a cottage garden!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I will pop back again shortly with another pretty project and video.

Bye for now.
