I decided to go contemporary.
I created the text for the front of the card in "Word" on my computer customising the size to 14cm x 14cm for a 6 x 6 inch card base.
I then printed it onto Melon Mambo card using my laser printer (essential for foiling with the Minc). Inkjet printers are not compatible with foiling. Remember when you are laser printing for foiling on card to set both your computer AND your printer to "Card" not "paper".
I very successfully foiled in white foil onto Melon Mambo card stock. The close up shot gives you a clear indication of the quality of the foiling onto this Stampin' Up! card stock. I really do love white foil on dark card bases - its very crisp and clean looking.
Then out came some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, my Large Numbers Framelits Dies and a little star shaped punch.
I was thrilled with how this turned out. So was Abby and happily, so was Clare.
So that's it from me for today. Thanks for visiting and I hope you come back again.
Bye for now.
