Add to that this morning's little disaster !!
I uploaded a video for this project below to Youtube and published it - only to find that technology had defeated me (not the first time !) My edited movie was not there. Absolutely no idea what happened - my lovely blue opening titles were replaced with a black one and the movie was completely out of sequence.
So it was back to the drawing board and "Take Two" ! I have uploaded again and this time no problems. I think there were You Tube gremlins at play. So apologies to those of you who may viewed in a state of complete confusion xx
Everybody loves pretty gift packaging whether they are giving or receiving it.
I wanted to create a pretty little package to hold either a lipstick or a stick of lip balm and everybody knows that small is beautiful don't they ?
So, this is my cute and ditsy little Lipstick Box with a Wrapper Sleeve which has been decorated in a really delicate and pretty piece of Designer Series Paper from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP pack.
The Badges and Banners stamp set has a really sweet little banner stamp which co-ordinates perfectly with the Duet Banner Punch and was ideal for this project.
I added some Finely Woven Soft Sky ribbon to finish the project as the colour blended perfectly with the floral design of the paper.
Its a really nice, quick and simple little project. I think it would be a perfect little pillow gift at conventions, but also a great little item if you sell at Craft Fayres.
Hope you like it - and are inspired to have a go at making one. This video tutorial gives you step by step instructions.
Who is up for a Christmas Countdown of gorgeous gift boxes and cards ?
I am off to my craft room to start planning this weekend and I hope you will be coming back over the coming weeks to see what I have managed to come up with.
Thanks for visiting today and for being patient - in light of my faux pas.
Bye for now and see you later !
Linda

I love all the boxes that you come up with. I am trying to find in your archives the instructions for the chocolate orange box. Would you help with that, please?
