Anyway, back to Eclipse Cards - here is my little take on them.
Lovely as a Tree was among the first Stampin' Up! stamp sets I invested in. I loved it back then and I still do. Used here in Pool Party on Whisper White card stock, I think this looks rather nordic.
I wouldn't be without my Large Letters Framelits Dies. Yes - they are quite expensive, but I have used them time and time again to create Christmas Cards, personalised Birthday Cards, on Boxes, Advent Calenders, etc. I consider them to be a great investment.
I felt it needed a small extra sentiment and the one I chose from the Star of Light stamp set seemed appropriate. Note the little solitary star from that set with a tiny bit of bling shining brightly in the winter sky.
I really enjoyed putting this little card together - and will be making some more to add to my little Christmas repertoire.
Right that's it from me - off to toilet train my new puppy Teddy. He is running rings around me !!!
Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteHi Lind. This was a beautiful card. I do hope you don't mind that I cased it for my class. I altered it slightly, so as not to copy you exactly. I also embossed it- found some pool party embossing powder, added bling and ribbon. I told my class it was your design, they loved the card. You are super talented! Anne x
