I decided I wanted to make a Shaker Card with the little kitten as my focal point. I spent ages creating the layers with some fun foam, window sheet and die cutting the squares and little square frame.
The little kitty was stamped in Smokey Slate using a stamp positioner and then clear embossed with Versamark and Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, as was the sentiment. I used my Powder Pink Stampin' Write pen to add a touch of colour to the ears nose and bow, just to pull the colours together.
Then it came to the point where I was going to add my sequins to create the shaker effect. But before doing so I added a little bling to kitty's collar.
I then decided to add some background bling too and dotted a few little rhinestones around.
That was when I decided the sequins would be a touch too much. I like the rhinestones better.
So my Shaker Card became a Window Card - and I am rather pleased with it.
The pretty DSP is Powder Pink and is from the Whole Lot of Love Design Series 12 x 12 pack.
Hope you like Kitty.
That's my little offering for today. I will be back again with another crafty little project shortly.
Bye for now,
