Wood Words with a Touch of Burlap

The Wood Words stamp set contains a fantastic stamp with lots of little stylised flowers which is just perfect for creating a really pretty floral backdrop for cards.

I stamped it down one side and across the bottom of the Whisper White layer on this card.

It's nice to send cards even if there is no formal occasion to celebrate - and the sentiment "A Note For You" is perfect if, in fact, all you want to do is get in touch with somebody, and a pretty card is much nicer to receive than a scrappy piece of lined paper isn't it ?

I have had the new large Burlap background stamp for a little while now and not really given it much attention, but my goodness, it's really lovely.  I used it here on the banner on the centre of my card and also on the middle layered heart, stamping tone on tone.  It cleverly creates the illusion of texture.  I love it.

Those Sweet & Sassy Framelits have been given another airing - I guess I use them a lot.

I am pretty happy with this 6 x 6 inch layered card - in Soft Sky and Whisper White card stock.
