My love affair with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set continues. I have used the large floral stamp that comes with it more times than I remember, so to me that really is money well spent.
I have never used it on a Christmas card though - that is, until today.
And doesn't it just come into its own?
I used my Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes (£5.50 for 20 cards and envelopes) as a base for the card. The Powder Pink layer measures 4 7/8 x 3 3/8 inches, so you can get five layers out of one A4 piece of cardstock - now that's pretty economical !
I stamped all over my Powder Pink layer and heat embossed in White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
Then I grabbed a dauber and my Powder Pink ink and worked in some colour, starting at the corners and sides, building up the colour on the outer areas, particularly the corners, and tapering it off towards the centre.
I die cut some pines from my Pretty Pines Thinlits set, having daubed the card stock before die-cutting it.
I used a simple sentiment from my Merry Mistletoe stamp set and framed it using my Layering Ovals Framelits dies.
Finished with some pretty pearl accents and a shimmery Powder Pink bow, I love how this little card turned out.
Hope you like it and that you will pop back again.
Have a lovely day.
