Green & Blacks Pizza Box

I am back for Week 4 of the Pootlers November Design Team Challenge, using The Little Things stamp set.

I love the handy little Pizza Boxes from the Seasonal Catalogue - they can be used for so many things.  You can make little boxed sets of of 3 x 3 greetings cards or you can use them to stylishly package up little gifts.  I thought it would be great to adapt the inside with a little insert so that they could hold not one - but SIX Green & Blacks chocolates !   What a nice little chocolatey treat for someone.

They are ever so quick to put together.

I used a piece of Gold Foil card for my insert which was cut at 7 x  3 1/2 inches.

I scored on the long side @ 7/8, 1 3/8, 2 1/4, 4 3/4, 5 5/8 & 6 1/8.

Then I burnished the score lines.

Then I adhered the two back flaps to the spine of the Pizza Box to give it some rigidity.

I placed double-sided tape to the four areas indicated below, one piece on one foiled outer panel and three on the centre.  Do not put tape on the other outer panel which will sit at the front of the base, or your box will not close.

Now adhere to the inside of the Pizza Box, placing the adhesive tape which is on the foiled area of the insert at the back of the Pizza Box

Carefully stick down.

Fill with six chocolates and decorate.

I cut two square panels.  One in Gold foil card measuring 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches, and the other is in Rose Red measuring 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 inches.  I heat embossed some decorative stamping on the Rose Red panel.

I stamped up the sentiment from The Little Things.  I thought it was quite appropriate.  Then I die cut it along with another piece of Gold Foil using my Layering Circles Framelits dies.

It was then just a case of layering everything and adhering to the top of the Pizza Box.  I added some decorative ribbon around the base of the box.

I think these would be brilliant little stocking fillers, teacher gifts, etc, and certainly not restricted just to Christmas.

Well, that leaves me with one week to come up with another project using The Little Things stamp set.  Better get back to the drawing board/pinterest board for some inspiration !!!!

Thanks for stopping by.  Please pop back again for my next project.
