Long Hand-Stamped Fold Flat Box from a Piece of A4 cardstock - Lots of Love

I created this hand-stamped, long, fold-flat box from a piece of A4 card stock.

I really enjoy creating everything from scratch.  Don't get me wrong, I do love pretty DSP, but it's just really satisfying, creating and working with your own hand-stamped piece of card stock.

Lots of Love is a great stamp set with some very pretty motifs and great sentiments.  I use it a lot.

So for this little project I decided upon some tone on tone stamping.  Out came my beautiful Berry Blush card stock and matching ink.

These boxes are great for things like bottles of bubble bath, hand lotion, talc, etc.  When finished the boxes measure 6 1/2 inches" long x 1 3/4" inches deep.

This is my video with step by step instructions.

Hope you like it and feel inspired to have a go.

Thanks for stopping by.  I will be back again tomorrow with a really pretty card for you.

Have a lovely lazy Sunday.

  1. Hi Linda, that box is so pretty. I don't think a box has to be 'all singing all dancing' but with the 'tone on tone' stamping it makes it a very elegant box. Linda, a question. Is there a way of working out how to put together a particular sized box please. I am wanting to make a box 2 1/2 x 6 3/4" or there about. No smaller though, I need to fit a glass painted box inside it for a friend for Christmas. Can you help me in any way? Thank you :O)
