Lots of Love - A Sweet Little Card

I do love this stamp set.  I like the sentiments and I love the individual floral and leafy motifs.

I have used them here to create a pretty tone on tone background for my card.  This is Berry Burst card stock and ink.

I used a stamp positioner to stamp the little tulips around the sentiment, using my Stampin' Write Markers in Berry Burst and Pear Pizzazz.

Then it was a case of die-cutting some Stitched Shapes ovals, adding some ribbon and adhering the Berry Burst layer to a Whisper White Note Card (these come in packs of 20 Note Cards and Envelopes in Whisper White or Very Vanilla).

And that's it - a simple and pretty little tone on tone card.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by, and please pop back again for my next little project.

Have a lovely and relaxing Sunday.

  1. Hi Linda
Such a pretty card. Love the colour and flowers
    Love and huggles.

    1. Thank you Rosemary - I love the colours too xx

  2. I love this card, initially the tone on tone stamping gives the 3 simple flowers on the front some dimension. The stitch oval framelits are great for framing both images and sentiments. I have a scoring buddy which I use to make faux stitching with but these give a more even professional look. I have the stitched squares, rectangles and circles. Look like I am going to have to ask Santa for some stitch oval ones too. ;o)

    1. I do love your detailed critiques Lorraine - Hoping Santa comes up trumps for you xx

  3. We can't get Stampin'Up in South Africa but I di love your ideas Linda. Have iften garnered inspiration from aming your projects and adapted them to what I have. I think this may just be another example. It is a lively "just because" card.

  4. Oh my hat - so many typing mistakes, but the idea has come across clearly I hope - it's simple really - I love your style!

    1. Bless your heart ! And thanks very much. You made me smile xxx
