Team Achievements & Those Pretty Little Striped Treat Bags & My Own Exciting News !

A couple of weeks ago two members of my direct team had something to celebrate.  One had reached a milestone target putting her well on the way to earning her first promotion.

Another, Maggie, had an anniversary.  She joined Stampin' Up! and specifically, my team, two years ago.  I cannot believe how time flies !

I wanted to acknowledge both those achievements with some greeting cards and little gifts.  So I went with a gold and white colour theme.

These gold and white Striped Treat Bags are a lovely quality and perfect for holding some crafty accessories which I had selected to top up their crafty stashes.  I punched little holes and fastened the bags with some fine Whisper White ribbon and added some die-cut toppers finished off with punched banners from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.

Next, I layered a couple of Whisper White note cards (these come in packs of 20 note cards and envelopes in Whisper White or Very Vanilla @ £5.50 per pack) with some gold gingham panels using DSP from Year of Cheer Specialty DSP.

For Myra's card, I used Sweet & Sassy Framelits dies for the topper and again used my Thoughtful Banners stamps to heat emboss the sentiment.  This is a formula I have used before for my cards and I just love the simplicity.  The words say it all.

For Maggie's card - I used my Large Numbers Framelits dies coupled again with Thoughtful Banners to acknowledge her two year milestone anniversary.

The little celebratory packs have been sent and were well received.

There are 13 members in my team.  Isn't that supposed to be an unlucky number ? !!   Well I don't feel unlucky.  I feel chuffed that they are part of my super little team.   I would love to bump that number up though and grow my own little Stampin' Up! family.  So if you have been thinking of becoming a demonstrator, I would love to hear from you.

Selecting that fantastic customised Starter Kit set me on what has been a brilliant journey.

There is lots of info on my Blog.  A lot of my team are "hobby" demos and ex-customers who joined simply to enjoy the perks of receiving the 20% discount on their own purchases.  That increases to 25% when you achieve your first promotion to Bronze Elite.

I have other members of my team who have gone on to create their own businesses, growing their own teams.   No matter what your reasons for joining are, be sure that there is a fantastic support network ready to give great advice, especially if you decide to join in order to start your own business.

I never believed when I joined as a Hobby demo four years ago that I would head up such a great team of supportive ladies and achieve the accolade of ranking at number 9 in the top 10 list of UK Top Overall Demonstrators, and also in the top 250 demonstrators worldwide !  That's a staggering statistic and I am still pinching myself two weeks after finding out !

There are two other members of my team who figured highly in Stampin' Up!'s recent On-Stage Recognition Awards, receiving recognition for their own sales, team building/recruiting and other categories, earning themselves well-deserved places on the list of top 50 demonstrators in the UK and one also ranking globally in the top 250.  She is on her way to Alaska next year, having earned herself a dream cruise.  How incredible is that !

I am so proud of all of them.

I am still waiting for someone to wake me up and tell me it's all been a brilliant dream !

Still feeling giddy !!!

    1. Thanks ever so much Lorraine. I won't be doing a tutorial for these. All they require is a small punch to punch a hole to hold the ribbon which closes them. Then simply decorate with toppers using whatever punches or dies you have. xx
