Well today's is also about gift packaging for those awkward shaped presents.
I did my usual scout about Pinterest and came across these super quick and easy triangular boxes that can whipped up in minutes and are perfect for odd shaped presents.
I took a piece of Foil Frenzy DSP (I love it - it's super cool and contemporary looking) which measured 12 x 7 inches.
I scored at 6" inches on the long side.
I notched at 3.5" inches on each of the short sides.
Then I scored from the notches to the outer edge of the centre score line. The photo below shows the score lines. Don't punch the holds at this point.
Once you have scored the diagonal lines, fold the card stock as shown below being the sides together and then punch your holes as shown.
Now you can place your present onto the flat card stock, thread your ribbon and tie a pretty bow. I have used the beautiful metallic edge Berry Burst ribbon which features in the upcoming Spring/Summer catalogue.
I love these boxes. You can make them in many sizes. Banish the frustration of ripping good paper whilst trying to wrap those pesky awkward shaped presents. Simply wrap some tissue paper about them and place them in these smart packages. Sorted !!
Hope you like today's handy little project, and I would love you to pop back again.
I guess like me, you will braving the shops today for some last minute stocking fillers. I have to say I detest Christmas shopping and have done most of mine online this year.
Have a lovely Sunday.
Ciao for now.
