It was very absorbing.
I simply punched three circles of differing sizes out of a piece of card stock. Then I grabbed a selection of colours - Bermuda Bay, Tempting Turquoise, Lemon Lime Twist & Daffodil Delight. I used daubers to sponge/rub on each colour by using the punched card as a mask and making sure that each of the circles overlapped another.
Then it was a case of die-cutting the sentiment from the centre of my stamped card, and a further three layers of Whisper White and one layer of Bermuda Bay all with the same "Celebrate" die.
I adhered the stamped layer to a card base and then applied the four sentiments in the negative space, finishing up with the Bermuda Bay one on top. I then filled all the negative spaces left with the little pieces from the original stamped die cut word.
The Celebrate You word dies will be available free with a spend of £90 (not including shipping) from 3rd January when our Sale-A-Bration promotion starts.
I think this card has a nice modern contemporary look. It was a fun technique, which I shall be trying again.
Just looked out - and we have snow in Fair Oak !! I'm not going anywhere today - just staying in and out of mischief in my cosy craft space.
Have a great day everybody.
