Small is Beautiful - Bloomin Love in Lemon Lime Twist 3 x 3 Card from Leftovers

Beautiful things come in small packages they say - well I have to agree.

I love the Bloomin Heart stamp set because I just think  that the intricate heart is exceptionally pretty.

I had some scrap card left over from a previous project which used Lemon Lime Twist card stock, so I cut it to 6 x 3 and scored at 3 inches on the long side.

I stamped up the heart in clear Versamark onto another piece, applied some White Stampin' Emboss powder and heat set the image.  I then die cut that and layered it onto a larger die cut heart, which was also left over from a previous project.  I thought it would be nice to add some pearly accents and the sheer bow.   I quite like the heat embossed sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set offset to the side of the heart topper.

Its small and sweet and very neat, and it just goes to show that its amazing what you can make from left over scraps.  Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by for today's little project.  I hope you will pop back again sometime.

Ciao for now,

Linda xx

  1. Linda you are so right, small is cool too! Especially if you were able to create this fantastic card from your scraps. I always find it satisfying when I am able to use any pieces of card stock or DSP from my scrap stash. I can't seem to throw card stock or DSP away no matter how small. I am always thinking that a small sentiment could be stamped on a particular piece. Every so often though I do go through my scraps stash because it can get out of hand. My latest great way of getting rid of scraps is from Critter dies because you can use little pieces of different coloured scraps to complete these. Thank you again for your very classy scraps card. Have a great New Year Linda. :O)
