Bold Butterfly & Some Filigree Treatment with Celebrate You Thinlits Dies

Yesterday it was Pink and Gold and today its Very Vanilla and Gold.  I guess I must be on some Gold kick at the moment !

I often write about how I like to get more mileage out of my dies and stamps and find ways of using them in ways not really intended, and I have seen some beautiful cards featuring the Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies used in conjunction with the Bloomin Heart Thinlits Dies which inspired me to have a go myself.

So I die cut a lovely filigree heart with the Bloom Heart Die, together with some dainty little flowers which form part of the set.  Then I used my Bold Butterfly die to cut a delicate butterfly from the heart.  I also die cut a butterfly in Gold Foil Card.

Well I decided to give my Big Shot a big work out - and also used my brand new free Celebrate You word dies, die cutting the word "Celebrate" twice; once in Very Vanilla and once in Gold Foil.

I made my card up of layers of Very Vanilla and Gold before adhering to a Very Vanilla card base.

I have to say - I really like this card, due in part, to the fact that the sentiment is quite generic.  It can be sent for any number of occasions which are celebrated - birthdays, engagements, new job .........................winning the lottery !!!!!!!  Its versatile and I am all for versatility.  Which is why I am doing my bit to promote the Celebrate You Thinits Dies which can be obtained free from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue if you place an order of £90+ (not including shipping).

If you haven't got one, and would like a copy of the new 2018 Spring/Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Brochure, please let me know and I will send you one.  There are some great new products.

Well that's my little Sunday offering.  I do hope you like it and that you will pop back again sometime.

Have a lovely day.

Linda xx
