"Glue Free" v "No Glue" ?
I have called projects such as this "No Glue Boxes" before, but somehow writing that, whilst editing the video for this project yesterday just didn't sound right.
So ..... here is my latest little project........ a glue free box which, although designed specifically to hold a 42g box of Guylian chocolates, could be used for many small gifts. It is 3 3/4"inches square and 1 1/4" inches deep.
I first introduced this box to attendees at a class I ran back in June at Wickham in Hampshire last year. The class was great fun and my ladies all left with their brilliantly executed glue free boxes, plus boxes of chocolates !! If you would be interested in attending one of my classes, please message me via the Contact Form in my Side Bar here on my Blog.
Since then I have tweaked the scoring very slightly. I love these boxes and the fact that absolutely no glue is required, to come up with what is a really neat and sturdy little gift box. Once scored and cut, the box can be stored flat, taking up minimal space.
Add to that, the fact that they are really quick and easy to put together too and you are on to a little winner.
I used the fabulous new Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack for this project. The papers have a really luxurious quality. There are twelve sheets of 12" x 12" inch double-sided designs in each pack, in shades of Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Powder Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White & Gold.
This is my latest video giving you step by step instructions on how to put one together.
I hope you like my little Glue Free Origami Style Gift Box.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will pop back again for my next project.
Ciao for now,
