Hopeful Thoughts - A Sympathy Card

I always find making these cards very difficult.   It gets me thinking about the person who is being mourned and generally it just makes me very sad.

This week we have said goodbye to a really lovely lady who has been a treasured friend and neighbour of my lovely Mother-in-Law for some 47 years.   A lifetime.  She was one of the first people to visit me when my son was born nearly 30 years ago.   She was a hoot with a wicked and infectious laugh.

She leaves behind a lot of lovely memories.

So, I got out my Hopeful Thoughts stamp set and keeping it very simple, I created this little card, choosing to use copper embossing on Very Vanilla cardstock.

I guess crafting isn't always fun.

Thanks for stopping by and having a look.  I hope you will pop back again.

Linda xx
