So 2018 has been welcomed in - I hope it brings happiness and peace.
This little card has made it's way all the way over to Spain, courtesy of my son and his lovely Spanish girlfriend and I hope it was well received.
It's an Eclipse Card which has proved to be very popular style of card just lately. I chose an unusual colour combination for it - Island Indigo with gold heat embossing.
The Large Number Framelits Dies were just perfect for this.
I chose to use one of the freebie sets from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Brochure. The set is Amazing You and will be available for you to select as a free set if you spend £45 (not including shipping) on a order from 3rd January. I really liked the little motif. I used it because it rather reminds me of fireworks going off (and boy - were there loads going off around here in the early hours this morning to celebrate the New Year).
I was ever so pleased with how this little card turned out. It's small but neat - 3 1/2 x 5 inches and designed to fit one of the envelopes from the Note Cards & Envelopes Packs (£5.50 for 20 cards and envelopes).
That's my little offering today. I hope you like it and that you will pop back for another visit.
Have a fabulous New Year's Day.
I shall be continuing my Craft Room tidy up. Good news though - Eureka ! I did find my missing stamp. It was stuck firmly to the bottom of my Stamp n Scrub !! I mislaid the little stamp on Christmas Eve and turned my desk/s upside down looking for it. In the frantic scrabble which ensued whilst trying to find it, I did retrieve a "missing" die which I didn't even realise I had lost !! Haven't we all be there and done that one ?
Ciao for now,

Linda, what a fabulous New Year's card. I love the Eclipse technique, not used it myself as yet but not had the project for it as yet. I love the colour combo because why do we have to conform to colours people want. I have seen the stamp in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue and thought initially that it would only have to be used as a sun rise but now I realise it is more versatile than that as fireworks too! Happy 2018! :O)
ReplyDeleteI love this card. Definitely looks like fireworks. The color combination is perfect. Great job.
