My struggle is always in finding images and sentiments which just aren't too "fluffy" for me personally.
I was thrilled to see the Sure Do Love You stamp set make it's debut in the 2018 Spring/Summer catalogue. It has a kind of rustic charm which is right up my street.
I took the lovely heart motif and heat embossed it in White Stampin' Emboss powder onto a panel of DSP from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper stack of 6 x 6 inch papers. I die cut the sentiment and also used my Beautiful Bouquet Bundle to die cut a pretty little bouquet.
It's a little card ...... I have a thing about little. I like neat and sweet, and plain and simple. The DSP panel is adhered to a Whisper White note card - these are great value for money at 20 cards and envelopes in a pack for £5.50. I use them all the time.
So that is today's little project shared. Hope you like it and I hope you will pop back and visit again.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI too find Valentine cards difficult, my hubby doesn't like card really but hates with abundance anything sloppy or fluffy! So I think I will follow your lead and use my Wood effects DSP this year or my Kraft card stock initially and perhaps stamp hearts tone on tone. One of my New Years Resolutions is to make more backgrounds for my cards and develop my skills. Perhaps I will use a stencil with inks or coloured pencils - what do you think?
