I do love the sentiment I used on this card. We don't really need the commercialism of Valentine's Day to let someone know we love and care about them each and every day.
I decided to do a little bit of background masking, so I die cut one of the little hearts from the Lots of Love Framelits which form part of this Bundle. Using it like a stencil, I used my daubers to sponge on some ink, placing the heart so that it just touched the next one. Then I die cut a couple of those hearts and sponged them in the same ink, and placed a couple across the row of hearts to give the card some dimension.
I used my Blends Marker Pens to colour in the pretty kitty. I am really getting the hang of shading with them now.
The sentiment was stamped in white embossing powder onto a piece of Pool Party card stock and then die cut, having been sponged with Pool Party Ink beforehand.
Its a pretty cute little card - sweet and unfussy. I find it very hard to do "fussy" without making a big mess !!
Well I do hope you like this little project and I hope you will pop back again.
Thanks for looking.
