So I grabbed my punch and sat punching out loads of the little flowers for this Valentine themed card. It's not a card to tackle if you don't have much patience !!
Once I had them all punched it was then a case of adhering them all to a die-cut heart. If you are a fan of quick cards, then its probably not a project for you. But I actually like to take my time and watch a card or an idea steadily evolve. After they were all stuck down, I used a white gel pen to ink in the centre of each little flower.
I chose a Crumb Cake card base for this and mounted my pretty heart to a circle die. I also used the leafy detail from the Painted Harvest stamp set and punched using the coordinating Leaf Punch.
I love how it turned out.
Valentines Day is not far away now - time to start thinking about that you crafty peeps.
Thanks for looking. Please pop back again.
Have a lovely lazy Sunday.
Linda xx

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to ask you how Teddy enjoyed his first Christmas? Hugs to him ~
Hi Laura - Thank you - I am sure you can work with what you have.
DeleteTeddy had a lovely first Christmas - and thanks for thinking of him. He is growing up too quickly !!!!
LInda, what a pretty card - how did you form the heart shape with the flowers - did you use a frame lit to work inside or just free-hand? Its great when a project can use lots of different elements from previous projects but for some crafters this is difficult because they cannot CASE a project because they do not have the same tools as were used originally. :O)
