I have had the Bike Ride Photopolymer Bundle for what seems like ages now but hadn't even opened it, until I happened upon a beautiful card on Pinterest by Australian Demonstrator Louise Sharp who was a worthy member of the Stampin' Up! 2017 Design Team.
One look at her card, and I just knew I wanted to CASE it, but I have tweaked my version. I wanted a sentiment on my card, so I incorporated a couple of stamps to make a sweet little banner from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (I love the sentiment) , and my Basket of Flowers sits on the back rack of the bike.
What struck me about Louise's card was the colour choice - Powder Pink and Smokey Slate (a fabulous colour combination), but I was also struck by how sophisticated all the layering looked. There are five layers of card in total (six if you include the card base), which draw you in, creating a pretty frame for the bicycle.
I am thrilled with the finished card and cannot think for the life of me, why I waited so long to use the Bike Ride Bundle (at £38.50 it's great value for money too). I now have lots of ideas swimming around in my head, and it won't be long before it gets an airing again.
I shall definitely be creating cards with lots of layers again - its a simple little trick, but very effective in achieving a beautifully framed centrepiece.
Thanks for looking - and please pop back again sometime.
Have a great weekend.

Well what are you like, which crafters do you know that has a stamp set that has not even been touched yet? Almost all of them I know! Us crafters tend to go back to our trusty favourites even though we know that the new set would probably work too. I am glad that you saw a card that inspired you and that you could CASE it so that we can now CASE yours too. :O)
